October 2011

October has been a super busy month for the Birds as usual. We went to Moab at the Beginning of the month, which was a blast as usual. We also had Kamrie's Halloween Dance performances, concert tickets, plays, dance shows, our 9th year anniversay and of course all of the normal Halloween festivities!

Bird Family Vacation

We took a 10 day family vacation last month and it was a BLAST! We left on Thursday night and drove straight through to Fresno, the kids were all so good. We stayed in Fresno for the weekend with Aunt Marlene, Uncle Mike and Grandma Peggie. We went to a Walker Family Reunion on Saturday and spent the rest of the time hanging out with the family. It was really nice to catch up with them and so great of them to take us in for the weekend. We left Fresno on Monday morning and drove to Pismo Beach. This was probably my favorite part of the trip. It was Kamrie, Konner, and Kasens first time at the beach and they loved it, we all had such a great time....I LOVE the beach :)It really was the best part of the trip for me. I loved seeing my five little Birds enjoying something I love so very much! Tuesday was Magic Mountain, which was Kalean and Karson's favorite day, Brandon not so much.....he is a little afraid of rides, lol. I think even the little kids are more brave then daddy when it comes to rides, lol.....we still love him though. Here is where we took this cool picture. We saw the photo booth and the kids all thought it would be fun, so we did it. They loved dressing up & we got a pretty cute pic out of it! Then, there was Wednesday which was another of my fav days. Brandon, Kaelan, Karson, & Konner all went to a Dodger game, while Kamrie, Kasen & I had a chill day. We hung out at the hotel, took a walk to the store, grabbed some lunch and a new computer game for Kamrie and took a nice long nap. That night we drove down to Santa Monica Pier to hang out with my BFF Jennica, I missed her alot. Oh and the highpoint of my night, I totally beat Kaelan in a barefoot beach race...I pretty much smoked him. He blames it on me being used to running in the sand....being a Cali girl and all :) Thursday morning we woke up super early and went to Universal Studios for the day. It was kind of a dark and dreary day, but we still had so much fun. Friday morning we drove to Las Vegas and spent the rest of the weekend checking out Casinos, the M&M store, hanging out by the pool and last but not least, went to a UJC fight. UJC stands for Ultimate Jousting Championship, you know, knights in armour & horses.....it was pretty great! We got home Sunday evening and were pretty exhausted, but it was well worth it. It was the best vacation I have had in a long time. The kids were all so good, we took lots of pictures and made even more memories!

Kamrie and Konner's Birthday

Sorry guys I am a few months behind. I guess since I am on the computer all day long, I am not to fond of getting on it when I get home. Anyway, We celebrated Kamrie 6th and Konner's 4th birthday back in January. We went to the Classic Fun Center in Sandy. It was fun time full of good friends, family, skating, jungle gyms, laser tag.....oh and don't forget Kasen stealing other kids bikes, lol. Anyway here is a little slide show of the festivities.

Crazy Busy December

Oh man, has December been busy or what!?! For us, it was full of Dance activities, birthdays, christmas parties, baking, shopping and of course Christmas! Let me just say this was by far my absolute favorite Christmas of ALL time, why you ask! It was the first Christmas in the almost nine years Brandon and I have been together, that my big boys were home! It was a perfect day, the little ones and I napped while the big boys saw a movie with Brandon. Then, we all baked and decorated cookies & made gingerbread houses. We woke up Christmas morning, opened presents, ate waffles then drove to Duchesne where we spent the rest of the weekend with the Birds! So happy December was great, but even happier that it is over, I am exhausted! Now on to New Years and Kamrie and Konner's Birthdays!

Busy, busy October

October has been so busy for us, good, but busy. On top of performances and Wendover we also have the usual October festivities, you know baking, pumpkin patchs, costume parties & carving pumpkins. Here are a few of my fav pics from this month so far, enjoy!

Octoberfest Performance

Kamrie performed at Octoberfest in Stansbury on October 16th and 17th. She did soooo great and lots of friends and family came out to watch. Jamie and the kids came out for the weekend, and as usual we had a great time with them. Brandon got to see her perform for the first time and was proud of course. Diana, Jenny, Heather & fam, Anni, Grandma Darlene, Chris and grandpa James all came throughout the weekend to watch. She performed five times in two days, it was exhausting, but great!
